“My son had a few health anxieties and was extremely clingy. I had been taking him to another childcare and after 1.5 yrs he never settled in. And the staff turnover was constant. I took him to scallywags on the advice of a friend and we genuinely couldn't be happier. The staff turnover is low and they are all long term. One of the ladies is even trained on how to deal with traumatised children. To be honest, I wish I had made the move sooner. My son is so happy, confident and blossoming. These ladies really are exceptional.”

“What an incredible centre this is! My 15mo absolutely loves coming here. Her educators truly take the time to make her feel supported and are committed to seeing her develop skills and confidence. All staff are warm and welcoming from the moment I walk in. The furniture is wooden and at an age-appropriate height. Many toys are made from natural materials. Great location, easy parking, handy updates in the app through the day.”

“Where do I even begin! I enrolled my almost 2 year old into this centre and it is the best decision We have made. Initially it was so difficult to send my first born into someone else’s care but they were so patient with me along as much play and stay time as I wanted. Barbra was sooooo helpful with enrolments and explaining the complicated government systems, the educators like Tamara, Emele, Bonnie and Min are just wonderful always taking my calls when I want to check in and just an all round friendly staff who made my little man feel super welcome even though he only goes twice a week! We ended up enrolling him more often because he enjoyed it so much! The room set ups are great and age appropriate, the learning walls are very helpful to parents to get an overview of education, systems and general information about the day to day activities and food menu! I also love that the older kids are downstairs and the younger ones upstairs I really think it makes a difference. I hardly ever hear children crying and someone is always attending. Also love the yoga, cooking and sensory experiences. I always feel updated on StoryPark and I always look forward to seeing what they have been up too! Thank you for making my life easier and caring about our child! I wish we were not moving at the end of the year!”

“Journey at Durack is the most family orientated centre I have ever been to. My grandson attends in the Nursery room and he loves it. He has come ahead in leaps and bounds under the guidance of the Nursery team, they are loving and always have the childrens happiness and well being at the centre of all they do, I could not recommend them enough. The staff genuinely care and take pride in their roles, it is evident that their positions are their passion and vocation, not just a "job". “My son attendsTiny Towns 5 days a week, he has special needs that require the staff to attend to his health and well-being while in attendance. Over our time at the centre the staff have accommodated his needs and have been 100% supportive of his needs and ours. The centre caters for a high number of special needs children and accomodate and support the children’s developmental needs. I can not express how much I appreciate the caring and respectful manner we are greeted with everyday.”

“Conference hall located next to the beach. Has several meeting halls equipped with theater seating. There is a cafeteria inside. This place is perfect for large-scale gatherings. Exiting the building, we will be treated to an interesting view of the seaside which has water play facilities for children and adults.”

“Such a lovely little park for kids. Great place to plan a party . Has a little creek running through. Nice for kids if using the community center. We had a party here and some kids dropped in which actually made it nicer. Local kids were really friendly and helpful. Would suggest for a party as bins are plentiful. Lots of recycling bins available.”

“TL;DR - Great staff. Made it fast and easy. I experienced really good customer service here today. I grabbed what I needed, went to the self-service, and the sales attendant helped me scan everything which made it go a lot faster. She then radioed to the lady at the front so she expected me and didn't need to check my receipt and trolley (needed the trolley for the bookshelves). I was in and out in 10 minutes.”

“Awesome place and huge space. Good for kids as they have many toys for the kids to choose from. My son get to scan his toys and put in the trolley. The staff are nice and let him do it. They keep encouraging him. Because of Big W my son is able to handle the self service register and make the payments. Thanks guys for letting the kids learn the life skills.”

“Excellent stay here at the Zen. The room had everything we needed to make our own food. The rooftop bar is a real treat with views over the ocean. Close to town and clean, this accomodation was perfect. The pool was lovely- so nice to lie out on deck chairs in the sun. The night porter was super friendly and welcomed us when we arrived in the middle of the night.”
