Welcome to Humpty Doo Community and Child Care Centre, a beloved institution that has been caring for and educating children from 4 months to 5 years since 1985. Located in the picturesque rural area of Humpty Doo on Challenor Circuit, Lot 1826, our not-for-profit long day care Centre is dedicated to providing a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for children.
With a capacity to cater for 116 children per day, we offer spacious rooms and outdoor areas that are designed to be natural, inviting, and offer valuable learning experiences for children of all ages and abilities. We believe in the importance of fostering a sense of wonder and curiosity in children, and our facilities are carefully designed to promote exploration, creativity, and play-based learning.
At Humpty Doo Community and Child Care Centre, we understand the vital role that families play in a child's development. We value family input and actively encourage families to be involved in our programs, as we believe that collaborative partnerships between parents and educators lead to the best outcomes for children. We warmly welcome and appreciate family involvement, whether it be through attending our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and joining our volunteer parent management committee (PMC), volunteering at working bees, participating in fundraisers, or sharing your unique talents and skills with us.
Our Centre is managed by dedicated volunteer parent members who work closely with our Director to ensure the provision of high-quality care and education. Through their efforts, we strive to maintain compliance with national laws and regulations while remaining financially viable. By enrolling your child at Humpty Doo Community and Child Care Centre, you automatically become a valued member of our community, and we invite you to join our committee by attending the AGM.

"We love the centre - I have had two kids here for the last few years and find it to be a wonderful place. Huge outdoor areas for the kids to play in, and a real consideration for each child. Caring and nurturing practices - my eldest girl can be a bit emotional and delicate and they always make the extra effort with her. Also, swapping days or adding days is no trouble at all (as long as it fits in with their capabilities on the day). Thanks to everyone at the centre - we really appreciate your work :)"
