“Had a lovely first visit here today with my husband and we found it to be a very calming, relaxed and friendly place. Service was excellent and I had a mozzarella, pesto and tomato toasted muffin with a latte and my husband had a latte too and we could not fault either. I overheard that they have been opened for 4 years now and each year they have had a break in or their front entrance door smashed !! I feel saddened to hear this. We had a lovely visit today and will be back very soon. Thank you”

And most importantly the veggie breakfast I had was probably the best I've enjoyed in a long time, offering real veggie and vegan substitutes, not greasy and well presented, cooked and portioned. A breakfast that hit the spot perfectly. I'll definitely be going back regularly, especially as the staff are also very welcoming and amiable folk.”

“Fantastic studio! Went here to have both nipples pierced. They were really friendly and put me at ease. The whole process was clearly explained, and I was given good aftercare advice. The piercing was quick. The whole studio was scrupulously clean, and the piercer was very careful about making sure everything was hygienic. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Will definitely go back. And they sell coffee too!”

“We visited the Baby Barn several times, including once with an appointment. They had a massive range of car seats, travel systems and nursery furniture as well as smaller baby accessories. The lady who helped us spent ages talking us through different brands and models of buggies. She even took a lovely photo of us in front of the Christmas tree with the model we liked the most! We left after this appointment without committing to anything, and there was no pressure at any point to commit to buy. We went back a couple of weeks later to order and everyone we spoke to was incredibly helpful again, and even made sure the model we liked fitted in my car boot. We’ve just picked our travel system up, and Sue talked us through it again, and helped show us how to fit the car seat. We had a slight problem with one of the accessories which was sorted out very quickly by the Baby Barn and a replacement was sent out and arrived within a few days. Every member of staff we spoke to was super friendly and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend the company to anyone!”

We went there in a group of 11 and had a banquet the food was amazing and I don’t think I’ve ever been anywhere where the owners and staff take so much pleasure in making sure you have a great night ( If you haven’t been to simmer down then you should be asking your self why not )”

“Very friendly and chilled place. It's refreshing to find a coffee shop with a great atmosphere and amazing staff. Prices are decent, drinks and food menu is varied and there is free Wi-Fi! Their chocolate and walnut brownie is delicious.”

“Visited on Friday afternoon with my family. I must say that I have never tasted a better waffle in my entire life…. The pastry is soft, tasty and light, the pistachio cream is simply sublime. Most of it was stolen by my 2 year old who could not stop eating it… :) I also had the chicken strips and must say the quality of them is in a completely different league comparable to high quality restaurants. The solar decor and spotless environment add to the experience of being in a very comfortable and quality venue. A positive note also goes to the host and the staff who are exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable of their food. I also had a cappuccino which was abundant with Alpro Oat Barista milk (my request) and quality freshly ground coffee. Price wise we are in the realm of the exceptional value for money since the quality of everything is way above a normal coffee shop and prices are in the mid to low range. Highly recommended, it is a ray of sunshine in the heart of Coventry. I will be going soon again and so should you.”

“Cafe, restaurant, bar, deli, its got it all, along with lovely staff, a little patio area outside, and really nice decor in. I like to pick up some authentic Italian ingredients whilst I'm there, they stock lots of cooking sauces, pesto, olive oil, '00 flour, tapanades, all sorts.”
