“For a small cafe it competes well with the big boys. You can sit outside or under shelter or the new indoor area and you will enjoy a friendly food experience. All food offered is good quality with much of it local made. At the moment cafe is open 7 days a week until 14:30. Special events & promotions later in the year.”

Loved that we were offered hot water bottles of we wanted them. The place is gorgeous and it's lovely to wander over the bridges and watch the fish, it does feel like a jungle.”

“The atmosphere was unbelievable for afternoon tea We didn't want to leave, we were in there for around 2 and a half hours just enjoying the place and drinking hot drinks, It probably would've been longer if another reservation wasn't booked. The food was good, not unbelievable which would have made the review a 4 had the staff and customer service not been 10/10 after I overpaid, and they helped fix that issue as well as their attentiveness during the duration of our stay. Great place highly recommend for afternoon tea.”

“Was there on 1st Jan. A quiet midday. They could only offer breakfast stuff. It was prepared rather quickly. Tasted fine and portion was reasonable. Really friendly staff. But true that the cutlery could be cleaner. It's like the moment you pick it up and touch it you know it isn't right.”

A hidden gem and worth a visit to UEA on its own but should definitely be part of any trip to the Sainsbury centre.”

“It's the first time we've ordered from The Olive Garden and have to say the pizzas we had were undoubtedly the best we've ever had! They were so good I felt obliged to call them and tell them directly. We had the Magerita and Blazing Saddles and they were phenomenal. Added to that the staff were friendly and their prices reasonable. Looking forward to sampling more of their menu Would recommend them wholeheartedly. *****”
