“Big Lidl, well spaced out and well stocked, even in the height of a sunny spell they managed to keep most things on the shelves. Great air-conditioning on a sweltering day too! Excellent selection of BBQ meats, salads, cheeses etc. Store spotless”

“Barry was so friendly and very hospitable. We loved staying here. Room had lovely views and was very comfortable. Supermarket very close by, home is right in the city so easy to walk everywhere. Barry supplied and served a magnificent continental breakfast and was very attentive....best place to stay and best value for money that we've had so far in Ireland. “Had a two night stay at Drumcloc House recently. Really enjoyed it. Lovely rooms - had great sleeps. Dympna has the Covid regime down to a tee. Sparkling clean House, plenty sanitiser and her hugh dining room is made for social distancing. The freshly cooked breakfast was brilliant as well. Will definitely visit again.”

“This is a super B&B big clean rooms bend over backwards hosts. Close to town centre. Breakfast far to big you won't starve here what you need for a day out. The Owner is a lovely guy. Great for walking, cycling, or fishing trips. Lots to enjoy”

“Going to Glengarriff is always a treat. We went to the Hotel while passing and asked if we could have breakfast there. It was not a problem at all. They accomodated us without any problem. Breakfast was superb and I would go back any time. Coffee was not so tasty but the view and staff made up for it. A great experience.”

“Only €10 to park up in the motorhome area which is great but it's extremely basic and has no facilities other than water. Great location, quiet, and you can pay to use their gym and leisure facilities for a shower etc. Food in the restaurant was great too. Highly recommend this spot for camper vans. With a bit of investment they could turn their motorhome area into something great.”

“Very welcoming B and B. Landlady is very friendly and will tell you about the local area and organize taxis etc. on the sheep head way for walkers and cyclists. Rooms are outdated but clean. WiFi is non existent. 4g reception is very poor. Full irish Breakfast served delicious.”

“Lorna and Noel are the most welcoming and caring hosts you could ever imagine. Two seconds after entering the iconic yellow front door, we already felt like we were in a second home, surrounded by wonderful people. All the breakfast options you can choose from are selfmade and you seem to taste the love and effort that is put into the dishes. The selfmade "dutch babies", Gallan Mor's signature dish, are definetly worth a try. The whole interieur is very stylish/chic and equally cozy. Our room was perfectly clean and comfortable, the view can only be described as breathtaking. Gallan Mor is the perfect place to spend your time, if you are looking for more than just a roof over your head.”
