"You won't want to leave! Stopped on Sheep's Head Peninsula at the Gallan Mor B&B. It's one of my top finds of my travels! It has a secluded feeling in the beauty of coastal Ireland. House is beautiful, hosts are spectacular, breakfast was the best, & when I woke up I could see the sea from my bed! They have a standing ancient stone that they didn't know about when they bought the place. It turns out that I'm not the first terminally ill person to be drawn to this lovely haven. The stone draws people. As soon as I walked in the door & before I knew about the stone, I rearranged my entire schedule to stay an extra night (3). Let Lorna & Noel bring a smile to your life. It's a short drive to everything you need. Explore Mizen Head & Sheep's Head or just relax. I did it again in finding that oh so special place to stay!"

"Lorna and Noel are the most welcoming and caring hosts you could ever imagine. Two seconds after entering the iconic yellow front door, we already felt like we were in a second home, surrounded by wonderful people. All the breakfast options you can choose from are selfmade and you seem to taste the love and effort that is put into the dishes. The selfmade "dutch babies", Gallan Mor's signature dish, are definetly worth a try. The whole interieur is very stylish/chic and equally cozy. Our room was perfectly clean and comfortable, the view can only be described as breathtaking. Gallan Mor is the perfect place to spend your time, if you are looking for more than just a roof over your head."

"There's a painting by Lorna which is called "A warm welcome" which features the bright yellow door and is a perfect description for what we received. As soon as we entered this door, we felt like home. The Gallan Mor is beautifully designed and decorated, it is just so special and really reflects Lorna's and Noel's spirit. They were the most amazing hosts, truly inspiring with great stories and passion and just so kind of heart. We won't ever forget you or the stay at your lovely B&B. Also the food and the breakfast were to die for (especially those Dutch babies) and the view was breathtaking. Thank you so much for this special experience!"
