The lady at the front desk was very kind and allowed us to shift rooms to get us exactly what we needed because she had a vacancy (she did this for free). The room itself had a great bathroom and plenty of room to move around in. The lodge was located directly by the highway which worked best for us because the lodge was just a overnight bed on a long highway journey.”

“I took Ripley for grooming to Tails in Tubs, recently opened in Douglas Woollen Mills - not only she did come back looking and smelling amazing, but she’s also very calm and happy!! The owners are so friendly and welcoming, they put her at ease straight away! I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning! Ernie”

“We didn't get to stay here as planned as the hotel was booked full to help house refugees from the Ukraine (which we think is Amazing ❤) we missed the email prior to our arrival informing us of this, however the clerk (very nice man) informed us that they had set us up in another very nice hotel! At the same price not far from them. We were happy they took such good care of us.”

“I've been bringing my dog Taylor to The Hound Hotel every week for over a year, and she absolutely loves it! They're real dog lovers and they welcomed Taylor like she was part of their family from the very beginning. There are regular dogs that go every week, so she has her pals to play with as well. They also have cosy couches where they all take turns having snoozes, and lots of toys around for them to play with, so they all have a great time. It's just really nice to know she's being looked after so well and is getting lots of rubs and attention while I'm at work or away. I highly recommend The Hound Hotel!”

“Great little flat that was very clean. i loved the bathroom being tiled from the top to the bottom. The keyless entry was great, codes were sent to us so we could check in any time after 2pm. It's a short walk to everything which was very convenient. Great wifi connection. i would stay there again!”
