Butlers Shore Tours from Cobh/Cork
● Open“We took the Blarney 1/2 day tour in Cobh back in May 2017. I booked it online before our cruise. The price was great especially when compared to the ship's tour which was the same tour! The company gave good instructions to find them. I'm always nervous about finding the guide when booking non-ship excursions but they were right where they said they would be and guided us to the buses which were a short distance away as the buses aren't allowed on the main street (about 2 short blocks). They say "Butler" on them as we were told. My brother & his wife had booked the full day excursion Blarney Kinsale which was even better priced compared to the same tour offered by the ship. They thoroughly enjoyed their trip also. We wish we could get this company's excursions in every port!”

Cobh Golf Club(Club Gailf an Chóbh)
● Open“Came here yesterday after scouting around for places in cork for a good game of golf and was blown away. Wonderful views, fantastic greens and some beautiful holes. 5 par 3's and 5 par 5's make it a balanced course and it's great if you want to shoot well. Greens hold the balls well and the putting surface stays true and challenging. It was so good we came back a second day, got rained on on the 6th hole and came into the fabulous clubhouse for a cup of coffee. Will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone travelling to cork.”

Titanic Experience Cobh
● Open“The tour was a great addition. Upon arrival you are given a boarding pass and told who you are and what class of passenger. This is the actual place where the last passengers entered to take the small boost to the Titanic. It paints a real picture of the distance of social classes and the loss. When the tour finishes, you are directed to the museum where you can learn "your" history and whether or not you survived!”

Cobh Coaches
● Open“John with Cobh Coaches was an amazing driver and life saver really, getting us to a wedding. We missed a shuttle and needed to get 7 people to the Vienna hotel and he got us there and picked us up. We loved him so much, we booked him to drive us to Blarney Stone the following day. He was full of knowledge along the way, telling us about the city and local attractions. Definitely book this service for your driving needs in the cobh area! Thanks again, John!”

Cobh Holiday Home
● Open“I had the most enjoyable and comfortable stay at Cobh Holiday Home for more than 2 weeks. The unit is ideally located in front of the harbor – far away from the noise of the town center but a convenient stroll to bistros, pubs, restaurants, shops, a couple of grocery stores, etc. The local train station is a 10 min. walk - hop in and you will be in Cork City within 23 min. The ornate, neo-gothic, St. Colman Cathedral on top of a hill is walkable. The house is well laid out and furnished with all amenities from big screen TV to washer/dryer. The vista from the bay window is spectacular with unobstructed view of the waters and Spike Island. Never a day goes by without an Irish navy boat, cruise ship, or barge, sailing through within waving distance. The maritime pilot boats are kept busy navigating vessels in and out of the harbor. It’s an amazing sight to watch and a perfect way to just chill out. The host was great and accommodating. He is sensitive to the fact that I am a senior traveling solo. He graciously offered a complimentary pick up upon arrival and departure from/to local train station. He was also kind enough to give me a thorough orientation to familiarize me with the town’s layout. It eased the stress out of being a first timer in Ireland. This is definitely a place I would stay again, a kind of host I want to deal with, and a picturesque town I will not hesitate to visit a 2nd time around. I had a memorable vacation. Thanks to the lovely town of Cobh and the friendly locals.”
