“My family and my husband's family stayed at the Coolclogher House in June of 2015. It's also where we had our wedding reception and it was a perfect experience. I use perfect because it was more than I could have imagined. From the scenery of the Mcgillycuddy Reeks to the historic and luxurious interiors of the house, it is one of the most beautiful places to stay in all of Ireland. Because I live in the States, I thought that planning a wedding across the Atlantic would difficult. I couldn't have been more wrong. Mary helped me plan every last detail, putting me in contact with local vendors who she has a history with and trusts. By the time I arrived in Killarney 5 days before my wedding, everything had already been taken care of so that I was able to enjoy time with my family and friends who had made the trip over. Mary truly made my wedding the best experience it could have been! I would give Coolclogher more than 5 stars if I could :)”

“There was a Mis communication between two colleagues around the price required to fix my phone, the gentleman in the shop honoured the first price given to me with no issue whatsoever which was quite refreshing. The cleanliness and organisation of the shop was second to none and his time keeping on the task required to fix my phone was bang on. All in all, excellent customer service and I left that shop with a smile on my face. I'm from Dublin but if I'm ever in killarney again with a phone issue I know where I'll be GOING.”

Location is ideal as it's just a few minutes stroll from the town centre, so not in the thick of it with noise. Owner was ever friendly and helpful. Would gladly go back when in Killarney again.”

This may sound odd but if you have been to Irish BnBs you will understand. The shower was very modern and American style. LOL, no pullcord for hot water, no button to mash/push to start the water. “Nice stables, lovely horses and amazing guides. They ask a few simple questions to pair you with the right horse and head off to a beautiful tour through the trails of the national forest. One of the guides (her name started with a C I'm sure) was friendly and engaging through the entire 2 hour ride. She was knowledgeable of the the terrain and landmarks with a little history thrown in. I whole heartedly recommend going here to all levels of riding ability.”

“What an astonishingly beautiful place. So unspoilt. Stunning views are best seen either on foot or by hiring one of the horse-drawn carriages. We took the carriage option and this afforded us the chance to stop and stare which was fantastic. I would highly recommend you take the time to visit the beautiful place”

The staff are all so friendly and did everything they could to make our visit the best it could be. 10/10 service. The food/drinks were all incredible. My partner had the wagyu burger, and I had the halibut. Highly recommended either of those dishes! The deserts were also yummy, make sure to treat yourself to one! Overall you will not be disappointed choosing Hilliards. If we didn't live nearly 6 hours away we'd be back in a heartbeat! We'll definitely be back to Hilliards on our next visit to Killarney ♥️”
