“Travelling through Cork and stopped for lunch. What a great find! We enjoyed the sigra borek and veggie calzones and salad. Tasty food and such friendly service.”

“I've nothing but positive things to say about The Anglers. I'd a delicious pizza-goats cheese, pesto, caramelised red onion and walnuts. The dessert wasn't something that I've seen other places so we decided to share it, and it tasted something like an exotic luxurious granola. I'd a hot chocolate also which went down well. The food was full of flavour and well cooked, a great combination of ingredients. The service was 10 out of 10. All credit to the staff. I loved the music although arguably it was a little too loud-Jack Johnson, Van Morrison, Florence and The Machine, Ingrid Michaelson, Paolo Nutini etc. There was a lovely atmosphere and there's a car park opposite The Anglers. I'd definitely recommend The Anglers.”

“This was a truly a great place to stay, its not far from town centre. The rooms were spotless, amd very comfortable. We had breakfast and evening meal, breakfast was so nice i had full English but there is plenty of other choices fruit, cereals, jams and pan cakes. In the evening you could have a 3 course meal, i have to say everything i had tasted so good. The staff there were friendly and helpful, they were all nice. I can definitely say i will be re visiting this place again.”

“Excellent hotel. Ideal for single, couples and families, groups etc. Ideal location so close to the main shopping street and other amenities. Lovely friendly professional staff. Free carpark and use of the car park during your stay up until 1pm on the day of your departure. The rooms are impeccably clean. The beds are really comfy and the showers are next level. Great price for a fab location in the center of Killarney town Will definitely book Scotts Hotel again.”

“Cottage was super clean and stayed 2 nights with my wife, sister in law and friend, amazing experience and the guy in the reception was very helpful and understanding as my car gut broke when we reached there, on the day of checking out, I understood from garage won't be ready until 4pm so, Went to the reception and explained the situation. The reception staff understand the problem and let us stay until car wAs ready, really really really amazing experience and recommend this place who wants to visit Killarney.”

“Dunnes cafe in Macroom is really nice place, queue was long but in fairness it moved quite quickly. Ordered food and was not waiting long (only maybe 5-7 mins) and it was tasty! The staff are extremely friendly and very accommodating, especially the person on the till that I had the pleasure of talking to. Couldn’t think of a complaint even if I tired. Amazing place!!”

“We had afternoon tea here and it was absolutely lovely. The tearoom overlooks the water, and the overstuffed seating is so comfy. The sandwiches and scones and desserts are all top notch, and the servers are super attentive. Highly recommended. We returned a week later to have lunch in the restaurant. I would not rate the atmosphere, service or food as highly as that which we had at the Afternoon Tea. The service was a bit lacking, no one checked back to ask if the meal was all right. The food was very good but not great. My husband really enjoyed his burger, and I enjoyed my chicken salad.”

“Fabulous experience! The food was amazing, we had a variety of options to choose from as well and my daughter being able to get a Gluten free pizza really made her day. The chips are something else, we even grabbed another bag after our walk for the drive home. Staff were lovely, and the young man who runs the place was super nice and very chatty, Would definitely recommend for anyone in the area.”

We stayed for one night in a beautiful room over looking the park at the front of the hotel, our room was spotless and super comfortable bed,plenty of towels, coffee maker&fresh water. We had lunch,dinner and breakfast at the hotel,all of which were delightful and served by the friendliest staff I have ever had the pleasure to meet It's an older hotel so if your looking for a spa or pool then this isn't the place for you,if your looking for a boutique with charm and style along with amazing staff ,right in the centre of town then The Emmet Hotel is for you.”

“Great little shop. There is even a little section to sit and enjoy the prepared food and coffee you can buy. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. There is an ATM in store and also a selection of alcohol. It can get a little busy during summer with the ice cream machine on demand by children.”

“I love this Chinese, it's our family treat. Food is really good and cooked fresh. Would highly recommend it, it's probably the nicest Chinese restaurant I've eaten in. The veg with cashew nuts is amazing and my husband loves the fillet beef with ginger and spring onion!”
