"The dreaded surgery happened, removal of my huge prostate. I have been visiting with Dr Abernathy every 6 months for a number of years and have always found him very personable, informative and easy to work with. Problems with urinating were become increasingly more often and we decided that surgery was necessary. I was referred to Dr. Jones for the surgery. I had been dreading this for many years, having friends that had complications following surgery for prostate cancer. My wife and I meet with Dr. Jones and we're very comfortable with him. Surgery took place 6 weeks ago and I was amazed how great I felt so soon. I would have had this surgery years ago had I known then what I now know . Doctors Abernathy and Jones, the assistants and office staff have all been great to work with!"
"I wish I could give them zero starts. This place has abominable customer service. Noely Miramontes refused to listen, held up a finger at me to shush me and proceeded to pass on misinformation to her supervisor when I asked a question about my insurance which covered the procedure. Instead of following up about insurance, she claimed we refused to pay and said she was going to cancel the appointment. ON A TRANSPLANT patient. Gary Hamilton, her supervisor was just as bad. And after we ended up paying she kept smiling at us condescendingly as if they had “won” when they forced payment out of pocket. I’ve never been treated so disrespectfully by a medical professional in my life. If you have the option to go somewhere else, please do so. I’m so disheartened by my visit there."

"Dr. Jones, who performed my prostatectomy May 2023, is an amazing surgeon. Prior to making a decision on how to best treat my cancer, Dr. Jones spent plenty of time explaining the robotic surgery procedure and all the pros and cons related to that type of treatment. While at the hospital, on the day of surgery, it was comforting to hear every hospital staff inform me just how good he was. The aftercare appointments are no different. He spends plenty of time explaining the next steps and answering every question. The entire staff at TUCC have been kind and extremely efficient. If you are thinking of prostate surgery, I highly recommend you consult with Dr. Jones."
