"After our ED experience last night with my family member (3rd time for me in this ED with family), we will always request to go somewhere else. Staff were nice enough but the amount of disconnect between all staff that came into the room was shocking. I can't tell you how many staff came into the room and didn't tell us who they were and kept asking for the story of events over and over. To make a patient relive the trauma over and over is not empathetic at all. Then after the specialist saw us no one else seemed to know this had happened or what his recommendations were for hours. We went from a plan to get different testing done from the specialist to being discharged with meds and told to follow up out patient. I can get that this is a thing with the income for hospitals but also don't tell a patient over and over that we're waiting on the testing and then 4 hours later decide we're not doing it! Next day, come to find, the referral sent was only for a neurologist not the testing we actually would have received had not been discharged. When we called where we were referred the next appointment was 6 months later. Clearly it seems we’re just going to let my sister get worse and then the hospital can get more money treating her the next time she’s brought in. Frustrating to say the least as the system is not set up to actually help patients. No one spoke with us about the particular diagnosis until the very end when the staff member thought someone else had explained everything. The communication was very lacking and we left feeling like we were just given a band-aid on a larger issue and moved on. I could go on..."

"In my experience if you have a high risk pregnancy or a big surgeries don’t recommend this hospital !! Unless you like a lot of students in your room screaming if they doing things right while doctors perform a surgery on you ! Also tons of new doctors that that they come at your room without reading your medical records ! And they give their unkind opinion! This hospital gives me so much anxiety and I end up a bit traumatized by the way I got treated !!but one good thing they have in this hospital were the nurses they were so nice caring and loving professionals!!"

"I had my transplant in July 2008 I have always been treated great best of care. The past few months it has gone downhill fast. I messaged and called and no response. So if I need a refill or anything who am I supposed to contact. Not sure who my coordinator is since mine left and was not informed about it or who is my new coordinator."

"I can’t say enough good things about this hospital, its staff, and the care they provided to my Dad when he needed it. From his first outpatient visit to his inpatient surgical experience with Dr. Tumolo and her amazing fellow, the anesthesiologist Doug, and each of the nurses who looked after him as if he was their own father, I was blown away by the level of competence and compassion they each demonstrated in everything they did. We feel fortunate that this facility is in our community, and appreciate all of the hard work that it takes to deliver such an outstanding patient care experience."
