“Barry Island is a great place to visit for all ages. A great beach, promenade, arcades, coffee shops, restaurants and a fair ground. A large car park close by and disabled parking with direct access to all of the amenities.”

“First visit to park lovely ground with small safe enclosed playground. Well maintained flowerbeds. Tennis courts and plans for new coffee shop imminent. Definitely worth a visit”

“Such a beautiful relaxing place. We started walking from the knap gardens over to Jackson's Bay. This is a costal walk taking in the views at the harbour, flat Holm, Steep Holm, Nell's point, Whitmore Bay, the famous Barry Island beech and finally Jackson's Bay. Mostly flat tarmac tracks, but some walks over sands Such as Whitmore and Jackson's Bay. Fantastic views of a lighthouse and Western Super Mare.”

“First time visit here today. Such a lovely beach. Not massive but big enough for the dog to have a good run around. Will definitely be back.”

“This is my go to place. Very quiet, nice cafes if needed. Toilets clean and tidy. Love it here.”

“Clean and tidy park. Plenty of places to sit and even a water fountain. My only gripe would be it's not very large, so while dog friendly, might have to do several laps!”

“We parked down the Knap and walked around. We sat on a bench while the children played tag on the grass for a while before we walked back the way we came. It's a lovely area to come and sit to have a chat while your children play. This area also looks great for picnics and to use with scooters and bikes. I would highly recommend this as a place to take tour children.”

“Recently had the splash pad opened again and with such a huge field its lovely, greatly used by dog walkers as a safe space to let them run free but I do think that's a lot of wasted land instead of investing more into something like a skate park or adventure park or something”

“Nice clean crazy golf for your kids to enjoy, not overly expensive and some good memories for them.”

“Very organised. The people telling you where to sit and the chappies on the door were brill I think the nurse giving me the injection was good it didn't hurt however she could have smiled a bit more. Brilliant experience though”
