“I highly recommend Evatt Dental Care. My experience with Dr. Deborah has been that she really cares. She showed me each tool before she used it and told me how it would sound and feel. She reminded me that I could put my hand up for a breather at any time, she explained everything to me really clearly and personably. She made me feel like she is on my team, looking after my teeth and I didn't feel any judgement for the condition they are in. I don't have anxiety around visiting the dentist but I imagine that Dr. Deborah would be an excellent dentist for someone who does.”

“Stayed over the Easter long weekend and had a wonderful time. During the Easter period there was kids hour (4-5pm) of free hot chocolate and homemade biscuits. They also had kids activity of colouring which my toddler loved doing every night. It would be good to have colouring table every day during the school holidays not just the Easter period. They also have 2 fish tanks on both sides of the building. One has the larger koi fishes which my toddler has to say hi every time we walk past. The room was massive and had lots of free space even with a cot in our room. Only downside with a big room, we had to have the heater on full blast to heat up the room. For the buffet breakfast they didn't have the biggest selection but enough to cover the standard (incl eggs to order) and for $26 (if you pay on the spot) it's worth it. The reception staff were lovely every time we asked for assistance. We will be back on our next trip to Canberra.”

“This is not where I normally stay, and to say I was reticent would be an understatement, but they deliver way above the price bracket. From reception, which was welcoming and happy (sorry I missed your name) with my lovely welcome gift (scoffed rockey road), this has been a very pleasant experience. No, it's not the Hyatt but frankly the rooms are obviously cleaned within an inch of their life, which means a lot. Can not fault house keeping. Gold Star. Whiff of ammonia and lavender. It is quiet here. Not enough power points near the bed, stops night time views, and wall heater is fine for Canberra cold. You deliver very well Ibis for the budget and with cheer. Thank you.”

“This is a great facility and I will probably always go there. I have mostly seen Dr Jeganathan and he is simply awesome. He is their skin doctor (cut out my SCC cleanly and completely) and a GP. Probably one of the best doctors I have seen in my 60 years. Since moving away from bulk billing however, things are a bit confusing out the front. Online it says DVA cards are accepted for bulk billing but when I asked at the counter they told me it only applied if I was seeing the doctor for a DVA related matter. That is a bit confusing and contrary to the information on the web site, perhaps they could indicate which DVA cards are accepted for bulk billing purposes (there are only three so it wont be hard) and for what conditions (any or DVA related only). Additionally I was charged before seeing the doctor and instructed to come back to have the medibank rebate applied when I was finished. So I did that and the staff member was going to charge me again until I asked why. When I reminded her of the instructions she gave me she said "okay" and then said I was good to go and that the rebate would appear in my account shortly. Why did I need to go back to the counter? Could that not have been done when I paid? It seems you should really only need to go the counter the one time? I know the non bulk billing side of things has only just started, but I think the system needs a bit of finessing. I also wish there was some other way of confirming who I am without having to tell everyone my address and phone number - in this world of identity theft, it is a worry. Irrespective of that, I have been going to this clinic for a few years now, and while I only see Dr Jeganathan, my wife sees other Doctors and has no complaints, and front counter staff are great.”
