"I went to Jia Yang Acupuncture with a severe pain in my left shoulder from a combination of age, calcification of a tendon, and working out too hard on a rowing machine. Jia took the time to carefully examine me, ask about what I thought caused it, and then moved the arm through a wide series of movements to pin-point the affected areas. His treatment area is spotless! With each treatment he took the time to assess my improvement and then would begin the treatment. He gave me a very specific set of stretches and exercises to do at home which were unique, and gave me confidence that the arm could heal. He is unique in that after the acupuncture treatment, he took the time to move the arm through a very specific range of motion like a physical therapist might do. This too gave me confidence to use the arm, and ensure I did not lose any range of motion.
