"I was attending the Redding Anime convention at the casino and came here for lunch. I stood at the entrance waiting to be seated for 10 minutes, not any of the only 3 available employees noticing or acknowledging me. I was finally seated and was not given a menu, let alone asked what drink I'd like to order. After 15 minutes of sitting at my table with no drink or menu, one of the only 3 employees was cleaning a nearby table and noticed I had been seated without a menu or given a drink. She came up to me and offered me a menu, I told her yes please and explained that I was seated without being given a menu or had my drink order taken. The waitress who seated me finally came by and apologized for the wait, and handed me my menu and brought my drink quickly. I then waited HALF AN HOUR for her to come back and take my order. On top of another 25 minutes of waiting for my food. The main problem with this restaurant is that they are SEVERELY understaffed. Once I finished she apologized and didn't charge me for my drinks, I thanked her and left a nice tip even though the service I received wasn't very great; I felt awful for seeing all these employees going above and beyond and trying their best to keep the place operating. I was in complete shock over how the casino is operating this way."

"Food was delicious. Drinks were delicious, and they gave us free sodas. However, they were very clearly understaffed. The service was exceptional but very slow due to this fact."

"While the food is edible most of the time the service since the closure of Creekside has been awful. We have currently been waiting since 5:30 to eat. We ordered our food 45 minutes ago. They never brought our salads out. I say the food is edible because well it is just that. We use to frequent here often however the last 2 times the manager on shift asked for our opinions, asked we fill out opinion cards because it was so bad. He told us to give them a couple months to get things under control so that's what we did. I was hopeful, however this time was the biggest train wreck. The worst part was the many people that came in after us that were served before us but came in way after us."

"This place has the best clam chowder in the state. It's only available on Fridays, so that's when my husband and I go. Two bowls of clam chowder with some amazing hot and fresh fry bread is only $10. Such a great deal. We've also gotten the steak and shrimp combo. Medium rare sirloin is always cooked perfectly, and the coconut shrimp are worth getting. Veggies and baked potatoes are great, and prices are significantly less than comparable restaurants. And with only one exception, the staff has been friendly and accommodating Tons of healthy options, too, with low fat and low calories. UPDATE (2/6/2023): they have now raised the price of the clam chowder from $5 to $7.50. Still a good deal, but not the amazing price it was when this review was originally posted."

"Best chicken and waffles ever! I love their mashed potatos and gravy as well. The wait can be longer sometimes then others but sometimes they don't have enough staff so that is to be expected. I seen someone post a review that the waitresses stand around and talk but maybe those aren't only waitresses but other staff from the casino who don't work the restaurant. The place is clean each time I have went and the food is hot and fresh and the amount portion is actually big I can't eat it all in one setting."
