"I switched over to Delta Pharmacy approximately 6 months ago with Jatin, Pharmacist. This pharmacy has been awesome, always has my meds, never lying, excuses and answers phone without hanging up. And, Jatin with his system keeps track of my meds from like 5 physcians in different locations. When my medication is low he does not wait until I am out, I HATED this with Walgreens telling me I have to call them. Jatin takes care of my Pre Approval with meds where some are only filled 3x, he notifies physicians way before they are due to get approval for new prescription. He delivers my medications to my home when I need them delivered. Jatin is always professional, personable, friendly, cares, no excuses, nice, very helpful, attentive to my meds, prescriptions and contacting my physicians. The biggest part is Jatin eliminated the stress that Walgreens always created on Deer Valley, Antioch (and I am on heart and stress meds with Walgreens pharmacy being contributing triggers). I switched after tired of Safeway, Deer Valley, Antioch getting prescriptions wrong and last straw was my son's eye medication with Safeway, but all left was Walgreens.....oh, no, but had no choice close to home. If you go to that Walgreens, Deer Valley, Antioch you know you have the same exact issues and worse, it takes time to contact Walgreens, on phone, drive, get down, wait in a 15-25 min line to be told they don't have my med when they said they did. They would not call me after just 2 hours earlier they said they will have filled by a certain time, but never had the meds in stock....unacceptable for Walgreens being a Global Biggest pharmacy buying Rite Aid and they do not have better checks.balances and systems in place for patients. I became very tired telling them, "no, go check the shelf to make sure you have my meds. They always make excuses, and nothing worse than LYING when you need your meds. They would tell me they would not receive prescription from my physician and verify electronically it was sent from Sutter or one of my other physicians causing many issues having to contact physician to resend prescription,now prescription delayed especially if a Friday having to wait Monday. Sometimes I have to contact Walgreens to Release my prescription to another pharmacy to get filled. They would screw me up having to contact my insurance. I am not the only one with the continuous issues including Walgreens not answering phones, on hold then hang up. My physician told me about Delta Medical Pharmacy, A Street, Antioch. He said they are great, never issues from patients, prompt courteous and never mess up prescriptions. I thought at first I have to drive to A Street, but called and found out that they deliver....awesome. Plus if this new pharmacy can fill my prescriptions and not do the disservice Walgreens does to use pharmacy customers then I will drive to next exit for better service. I moved all my medications from Walgreens (like 10 meds) including my son's meds. I have NEVER experienced all the issues you or I have experience at the Walgreens with Delta Pharmacy. Do yourself a favor, eliminate your stress, missed filled prescriptions, no notices or calls, eliminate extensive waits in walk up and drive up.....try Jatin at Delta Pharmacy. Jatin reminds me of the corner pharmacies that use to exist when I was a kid. Vargas"
