"$49 Diagnostic service or offer is a complete scam, waste of time and money. Called and spoke to them directly to verify what their diagnostic service included and to make sure they would diagnose my power outage issue before booking an appointment. The operator assured me and said I would get a diagnosis and know what the problem is but from there would be given additional options to fix the issue from there. The operator understood I had 2 outlets out and my main heater unit was without power. Waited all day for a kid to show up for my diagnostic call. When he arrived I took him directly to an outlet that I felt was the source of my power outage. He never opened it up and said he was just here to conduct a walkthrough? The tech Brian also added there was an added cost for a diagnosis and that would require him to go to his truck and get his tools? In the end I had no information about my electricity and power loss issue? I was left with a $500 quote to have a diagnosis done on my outlets and a separate quote for a recommended $15,000 panel upgrade? He left my family with no heat and power at the coldest part of winter. I paid $49 for absolutely nothing. Stay away from this company. Added Update: 3-11-2024 I just need to clarify how unprofessional, awful and disappointing this service call was. A complete rip off. The next electrician I called not only never tried to suggest or insist on selling me a $15,000 panel upgrade but instead came out and saved the day. I showed Abraham the electrician the exact same outlet I showed the tech from service lion and suggested I feel this is the source of the problem. Service lion never opened up the outlet to look or check it??? Abraham from "All For You Electricians" after looking at my main and sub panel went right back to the outlet I showed him and opened it up, found and verified that it was the source of the problem. From there he went into my basement and opened up three other outlets that were all connected to the same breaker why I'm not sure but that's what he did? I was then given a reasonable price to fix the issue. The service call price was waived and we agreed on a price to fix my power loss that was a couple hundred dollars lower than service lions $500 quote for a diagnosis only? The complete opposite of what I received from the service lion tech."

"Good service but VERY EXPENSIVE for the task. I paid $6040 for two guys to work 5.5 hours--and a third guy helped for a couple hours--to partially vacuum a small attic and air vents and to replace a bad gas valve on a 12-year-old furnace. My original call was to fix the furnace only. I checked prices for similar services online and found I grossly overpaid, even though Service Lion manager said he was giving me a 'deal.' The gas value replacement took 5 minutes. Online the new part costs $50-80. Service Lion charged almost $690 for that task alone. The crew was friendly and professional, so no problem there. But I feel like an idiot for over-paying. (By comparison, I will soon have new artificial turf installed in my front yard with a crew expected to work 6-8 hours and the cost is $2490.) My attic had evidence of past rodents, although there was no smell or poor air quality. No rodents were found. Service Lion crew removed some of the insulation where droppings might be, blew in new insulation, and taped 4 holes in the plastic around the ducts (with black duct tape used in the original installation--the manager sold me on a specialized product to patch small holes in the plastic and it was just tape!). They vacuumed air vents, and were supposed to sanitize surfaces (don't know what they did for that since the attic floor is wood--small spots atop the furnace that the manager said was rodent urine was believed by workers to be spots of dried material used in the original furnace install). I could have wiped off the top of the furnace myself. I had no prior complaints about smell or air quality, so the cleaning was preventative. Crew patched two tiny holes in my attic to prevent future rodents from getting in. Hopefully they found the only openings. I should have just paid someone else to seal the holes and replace the furnace gas valve and a much lower cost. Even full rodent removal services cost a fraction of $6040, and I didn't have any critters in my attic. I could have vacuumed the droppings myself. I can't justify the price I paid and I should have shopped around. My mistake."
