"This grocery store is still going on strong after all of these years. Since the Capitola and the midtown Santa Cruz Rite Aide went out of business. It's also a misfortune that the Capitola Albertsons went out of business. There's no book that tells anyone how to keep their company from going out of business."

"This store has the most cramped, narrow, and claustrophobic aisles of any grocery store I have ever been in. Keep in mind I have been to some pretty tiny stores all over the world. I thought the store in Quito Ecuador was compact. Nope. They ain't got anything as narrow as this Safeway. Update: It is now one year later, and I returned to a store with wider aisles and a clean logical arrangement. Kudos to Safeway. Well done."

"I do love my neighborhood Safeway. It's close, convenient, and nearly always has anything I need. The first time I entered it, I felt like I'd gone back in time to the grocery stores of my youth. Would I prefer a modern Safeway with a Starbucks and sushi bar were nearby? Yes. But I do enjoy the nostalgia, and I won't complain."
