Schaefer Ranch Park is a family-friendly institution located at 9595 Dublin Boulevard in Dublin, California, United States. This 6.3-acre park is perfect for children of all ages, with a "tot lot" for 2- to 5-year-olds and an apparatus play area for 5- to 13-year-olds. The park also features a covered picnic structure with eight tables, a tennis court, a basketball court, and game tables for checkers or chess. Additionally, there is a unique "pocket park" across the street from Schaefer Ranch Park, which includes horseshoe pits and more picnic tables for outdoor enjoyment. The main picnic area at the park can be reserved for events and gatherings, seating up to 64 people and equipped with two BBQs. Reservations can be made online or by completing the Group Picnic Area Application.
Alice Keck Park Memorial Garden
Alice Keck Park Memorial Garden is a stunning park located at 1500 Santa Barbara Street in Santa Barbara, California. Every Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., volunteers of all experience levels can participate in tasks such as pruning, mulching, deadheading, and weeding under the guidance of Parks staff. Drop-in volunteers are always welcome and should meet at the big shed on the Santa Barbara Street side of the park. If you have your own hand tools and gloves, please bring them along, although a limited supply is available for use. Come and be a part of preserving this special green space in the heart of Santa Barbara.
