"They raised the rent up 3x and said I had to reapply because it was passed the 72 hours holding fee time frame when none of that was mentioned to me. On top of that they rejected the application because after them raising the price 3x I no longer met the 2.5x rent threshold ."

"I was extremely disappointed with Mosaic for the amount of money they charge. The one positive thing I can say, it's close to the 101 freeway, which was convenient . I leased a 1B 1B for 1 year, and paid almost $2700, plus extra for utilities, extermination, water etc... First off I was NOT given a garage space, and was told that particular apartment doesn't come with it. They have a place to store your bicycle and strollers, but is kept LOCKED and not able to use by tenants. I was told by management many people put other things in it. So no bike storage for me. Needless to stay, my bike got rusted out on the balcony. The hallways and stairwells where never cleaned once in the entire year I was there. The floors are full of dirt streaks from people carrying there garbage to the shoot. You can be expected to find tons and tons of nats flies outside your doorway in the summer. When I complained, I was told there was nothing they could do about that, even though I was paying for extermination as part of my other fees due. The office had nice ladies working there overall, except for the manager, she is condescending, neglectful, and just down right rude at times. At one point while talking to a worker in the office, the manager was screaming from her office to answer a question that I was asking. I thought to myself, is this how professionals conduct themselves? Crazy. I had no intention of staying, in hopes of buying a home soon, I was going to renew my lease, just to avoid the hassle of moving. They wanted to raise my rent by a few hundred dollars, after I have paid on time, without incidence, for a year. I then looked up online and saw Mosaic advertising the rate I was originally paying, which was almost $2700, so why would I pay more? When I asked, I was told this is a company and we are here to make money. If I wanted the lower rent, I was informed, I would have to move out of my apartment and into another apartment in the SAME complex to receive the lower rate. I decided if I have to move, I am DEFINITLEY getting out of here. My apartment faced The Collection (which Mosaic loves to advertise as a positive) and the noise at times from the bars over there was so bad. Mosaic doesn't have double pane windows, so you can hear EVERYTHING; people singing, partying, and very LOUD music. Also, when you have food delivery or friends over, good luck getting them in the gate. They NEVER worked properly and I would always have to meet them downstairs. Speaking of which, part of the reason I moved in, was the gate, thinking it was safer. Only, to find out a month after I moved in there was a car jacking right inside the Mosaic parking lot. When I asked management why wasn't there an email or something sent out to make tenants aware of this, so we could be more vigilant. I was told it is NOT their obligation and the gates are NOT there for security! SHAMEFUL! Overall, I would NOT recommend Mosaic to anyone interested in renting somewhere nice to live. You will end up paying ALOT of money and be disappointed in the end."

"LOVE where I live. I can not even begin to explain how much this place means to me. It look me a couple of months to find a place I really wanted to move to. From the moment I took a tour here I felt at home and at peace. Alexis is WONDERFUL! She helped me in every step of the way to ensure I landed the apt I wanted. I love all the staff including Samantha, Tiffany, Larry and Carlos for all that you do for the residents here. Keep it up!"

"Mosaic Apartments was once a place of peace, safety, tranquility. But after several years and many management team changes, it’s morphed into an unsanitary, unsafe, ignorant, overpriced, ghetto, and dingy apartment complex. The management team is rude, ignorant, and have a huge lacking for professionalism. I’m surprised they are still employed here."
