"This place is great if you're looking for decent quality sushi on a budget. We came for a quick lunch and tried a mix of items on their lunch special. My favorites were the teriyaki and Tempura. We also got the sashimi, cutlet and a roll. Overall I was happy with the food and even more so with the price. I would definitely come back here"
"Tampopo Korean owners with Japanese food, yet good combination and tasty. Tampopo is famous for fair price and generous portion. We have been here a few times and each time, we are really full without breaking out wallet. They also have lunch special for really good price. We have to pack the left overs. It was too much even it is only for one person. They are really generous. The service is not bad. They tend to wait until you call them. I drink a lot of water and it is gone fast. But when you call them, they show up within a minute. Not too bad. They are also nice that they don’t force you to eat and leave fast. A very relaxed place for either lunch or dinner. Not only Asians like here, it has all kinds of ethnic groups that show how popular they are. I like this place. Keep up the good work."
"On the outside, the place looked very unassuming. The wooden bars that show through the door gives the impression that it was not open for business, but the neon open sign was on. Inside, the place is small and cozy. Tables were adequately spaced apart. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food and had no complaints so that’s always a plus. The rolls were pretty good. Miso soup was just right. Portions were good. Service was also good. The crew members were quick to remove empty dishes. This was our first visit to this place so, hopefully, the next ones are as good or better. (I did notice the sushi chef not wearing gloves while preparing the rolls.) Btw, parking spaces are tight."
