California Refrigeration

"It could be 1 star if it wasn't for the second guy. The first guy they sent was a total incompetent and spent almost 3 hours to diagnose an issue that can be done in less than 30 mins and to my disappointment, the company still charge me for it, including the second opinion. I had a big doubt that the first person broke the compressor and was trying to fix his mistake, that's why he took almost 3 hours fiddling with it, and when I arrived, pretended that he was doing me a favor by spending time with it. Why else would he say he's trying to resuscitate it? If the compressor is broke, it's broke, unless he's the one that broke it, then he's just trying to cover his mistake. While observing this first person, He was really rough on the equipment and very condescending while communicating with me. When he broke the panel, he even told me that he didn't broke it when I actually saw him did it, then he proceeded to tell me to hire an electrician to fix his mistake. Then he start slamming the cover to the equipment and pushing to get a second opinion since his cover up is pretty much complete after he showed the equipment and telling me that it was broke. Since I'm not able to prove that he actually broke the equipment other than his suspicious story, I'm now obligated to replace the equipment if I want to stay in business."

"I was in desperate need of a technician with enough knowledge to look at my air compressor / refrigeration system at my business. This company was extremely responsive and able to help me within 24 hours. Unlike other techs I have had, Jay operated with a high sense of knowledge and professionalism. He diagnosed the problem, called tech support and fixed the problem! I had 3-4 other men out this month for the same problem- all too proud to call tech support and find out simple information to help make a full picture for him to solve the problem. Very please and I will be using these guys moving forward! Highly recommend for any refrigeration system problems you have."

"Called on a Thursday. Gentleman informed me that appointments were one or two days out and that I would be charged a $240 transportation fee and asked how I would pay. A full week later, received a call to schedule an appointment for the next day. Previously, it has taken 2 or 3 visits to complete a repair at approximately $600 each visit.Fortunately, found JB Refrigeration in Fairfax. James Bueno came out the next morning, quickly and efficiently completed the repair for about half the price of CA Refrigeration's travel price alone. So professional!"

"Very unreliable and unprofessional service. My freezer was under warranty and it took them 2 months to get the replacement part. I had to call them several times in order to get the update. They told me to switch off the freezer and the technicians will be there to fix it but till 1.30pm nobody showed up. Again I called and said if they not there by today then be tomorrow.....is this how we do business. Couldn't you have called and let me know rather than me calling and asking. The guy in reception couldn't answer my questions and said to hand up on me. also the supervisor is not available [ who is never available] and transferred me to voicemail. Hope he feels guilty and gives me a call. If anyone looking for quality and professional refrigeration company I would recommend FOOD FIX rather then these people.
