Founded and operated by professional fine artist Lauren Sinnott, Artgoddess is dedicated to creating stunning, narrative-driven artwork that captures the essence of our community's past, present, and future.

One of Lauren's most notable works, "Past, Present & Future," is Mendocino County’s largest mural, adorning the north wall of the Ukiah Valley Conference Center in downtown Ukiah. Spanning an entire city block, this monumental mural tells the rich history of the region, from the natural world before human habitation to a hopeful vision for the future. With over 200 portraits, including both people and animals, the mural invites viewers to explore hidden figures, symbolism, and inscriptions that bring each chapter of our story to life.

Lauren’s extensive background in art includes a BA and BFA in drawing, painting, design, and art theory, as well as an MA in Art History with a focus on the Italian Renaissance. Her artistic vision is complemented by her practical experience and commitment to creating art that is both beautiful and enduring. Her works, whether displayed publicly or commissioned privately, are designed to be easily maintained and enjoyed for generations.

Beyond her artistic endeavors, Lauren has also served as an elected council member and Mayor of Point Arena, giving her a unique perspective on the importance of public art in fostering community pride and civic identity. Her commitment to inclusivity and community engagement is evident in her work and her dedication to following Ukiah’s new Public Art Policy.
