"The food here lives up to the hype. Bring your appetite. Their "short-stack" of pancakes is huge. I am rather large and I could not finish it. Definitely worth the stop. Caveat: opened for breakfast and lunch only."
"Excellent service! The breakfast dishes ordered were prepared the way we asked. The drip coffee was actually really good! Usually coffee at diners have an acidic to bitter after taste. But the coffee here was smooth. Dishes ordered were French toast with a side of 2 eggs. And the Country Eggs over English muffin with bacon and hash browns."
"The place has a nice rustic feel and the workers are so nice and very flexible. My varsity marching band came in half an hour before closing time, and they were amazing! I highly recommend the clam chowder and the pancakes were great too. This is overall one of my favorite places to eat in California."
"Great pancakes, platter size, sissie size, and baby size. Done just like my grandfather used to do, a little schmaltz on the griddle so the edges are crispy. Can't agree with the high praise for the biscuits and gravy. Would not even get a mention in Portland OR. Biscuits should be flaky layers and gravy needs lots of sausage... at least it did not taste like paste."
