Discount Tire & Service Centers - Irvine

"Really surprised this place has the stars it does. I came in on Tuesday with no appointment and waited two hours for them to tell me I needed a tire repair. I came in the next day and waited an hour for them to replace the WRONG tire. It was raining really hard when I realized on the freeway that something was still wrong with my tire that should’ve been fixed - the air was still low and it showed up as red. I call the place and they tell me they’ll take a look for me. When I get to the shop the guy who replaced my tire is looking at the wrong tire, which is when he says he replaced the wrong tire. Victor - the front desk guy - instead of apologizing says “hey it happens.” Are you kidding me? I wait for over an hour for them to replace the wrong tire and instead of an apology I get a “hey it happens”. Unacceptable and unprofessional. Will not be coming back here and made sure to tell all my friends and family to never come here either! Super frustrating experience and the wait times are also unnecessarily long. I’d go literally anywhere else instead of here."

"This is not the discount tire nationwide franchise. We bought tires at discount tire in San Diego and when we were in Orange county I needed to get a repair done so we went to this discount tire location and they informed me that it has nothing to do with the discount tire chain. I made an appointment at this location Took me about 10 minutes to do it online and when I got there they said they don’t take appointments even though I showed them the email confirmation! In Orange County discount tire is called America’s tires. It’s close by so I went there and it is the normal discount tire that I’m used to with great service."

"The worst experience ever. My appointement was at 9:30 and they were suppose to change the engine oil. I got calls later that break fluid and coolant fluid needs to be changed which was ok. They have charged me 3x$4.95 for disposal of oil filter, and the liquid empty bottles. I was tokd that the service only needs 1.5 hr, it took them 5 hrs to change the fluids. I did not see morality and constumer service in their tone. The labor cost for changing the fluids was more expensive than the fluids themselves. I do not recommend."
