We are excited to announce the re-opening of the Salmon Creek Unit of Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge starting Friday, August 23. Please note that a portion of the Shorebird Loop Trail will remain closed due to ongoing repairs to the levee and tide gate. We kindly ask all visitors to respect this partial trail closure to avoid a full closure of the trail.
