Whaley Park Community Center
Whaley Park Community Center, located at 5620 East Atherton Street in Long Beach, California, is a vibrant institution funded by a grant from CalRecycle. Renovations to the community center and park landscaping were completed in 1992 with funding from the state Park Bond Act of 1988. Additional improvements, such as sports field lighting and playground redevelopment, were made possible through various grants and funds.
