The Midland Long Term Visitor Area (LTVA) is a campground, lodging, and park located at Unnamed Road, Blythe, California, United States. Campers must be self-contained for waste and gray water as vault toilets are not provided. A Special Recreation Permit is required from September 15th - April 15th, with camping allowed at no cost between April 16th - September 14th with a 14-day limit. Long-term permits are $180 for 7 months, while short-term permits are $40 for 1 to 14 consecutive days. The permits are valid in any of the six LTVAs in California or two LTVAs in Arizona. Safety precautions should be taken due to desert hazards, and all rules and regulations must be followed. Visitors must purchase a permit for camping during the designated seasons.
