Brakensiek, who generously donated the land for the library, our current facility has been a hub of knowledge and community activity since its dedication on August 16, 1975. At Clifton M. Brakensiek Library, we are committed to providing an enriching environment for learning, creativity, and community engagement. Our library was a pioneer in library technology, serving as the Automated Circulation System pilot site and the first County library to implement an online circulation system in 1989.
