This institution is a combination of a clothing store, furniture store, home goods store, jewelry store, and park all in one. Founded by Rachelle and Mel, Sacred Woods began as a small venture after a trip to Southeast Asia in 1989. What started with just two suitcases of handicrafts has now grown into a thriving business that ships two cargo containers annually. Rachelle and Mel travel back to Southeast Asia frequently to source the highest quality statuary, sculpture, handmade clothing, and jewelry. They have also developed relationships with suppliers of gazing stones.
