Senator Wash South Shore
Senator Wash South Shore is a campground, lodging, and park located in California, United States. This recreational area spans approximately 50 acres and offers flat, open spaces with large gravel beaches for easy access to the reservoir. The facilities provided include two restrooms with flush toilets, outdoor showers, and drinking water. Visitors can also launch small watercraft from the nearby boat ramp. The features of Senator Wash South Shore include opportunities for OHV riding, fishing, camping, wildlife watching, watercraft recreation, swimming, hiking, solitude, and sightseeing. To reach the campground, take Interstate 8 to Yuma, AZ, then head to Imperial County Road S24 and follow it north for approximately 22 miles to Senator Wash Road. Turn left onto Senator Wash Road and follow it for about 3 miles to the South Mesa campground. Turn left again and proceed 200 yards to the access road on the right that leads to the reservoir.
