The Animal Shelter Assistance Program (ASAP Cats) is located at 5473 Overpass Road in Goleta, California. Due to a roofing project, the shelter is temporarily closed, but adoptions and surrenders are still being facilitated. Emergency services, foster aid, and stray intakes can be accessed through the volunteer entrance to the right of the main door. Owner surrenders are not currently being accepted, but resources for rehoming can be found on their website. ASAP Cats is the first non-kill shelter in Santa Barbara County, with over 200 volunteers caring for cats for over 32 years. They have rehomed 100% of their adoptable cats. If you're looking to adopt a cat, you can fill out an application online or visit Cat Therapy in downtown Santa Barbara to meet some of the available kitties.
Front Street Animal Shelter
The Front Street Animal Shelter, located at 2127 Front Street in Sacramento, California, is dedicated to sheltering lost and stray animals while enforcing animal welfare laws. Our adoption, volunteer, and outreach programs aim to improve animal welfare in the community.
