Southside Century

"This is sad, because this place used to be amazing. We went here Saturday morning, ordered the pancake (the first mistake) and the protein bowl (which was actually delicious and I wish we could have eaten it all) Sent the pancake back because it was soaked in grease and inedible in my opinion. Not a pancake, call it something else because its misleading, and the only sweet breakfast option they have. They said they would refund it, and they did not. The refund never came through on our end. THEN when we were up taking care of that, one of the waitresses took our 1/2 full protein bowl away and into the back. So we paid $50 for three bites of breakfast. When I asked the waitress if she took the food she said yeah "there were only a couple of bites left". For starers, theres only a couple of bites all together on the protein plate, and you NEVER EVER take food away from guests without asking them first. She then gave us a cookie to try and make up for it, when I already bought a cookie to replace the terrible pancake. Terrible service, attitudes everywhere, and very upset that we walked out of there hungrier and angrier than when we walked in."

"Surprisingly Excellent! If you are far away, it’s worth the drive. It may seem pricey for a cafe, but it’s actually a high end restaurant in a casual clean cafe environment. We had the Chilaquiles and the avocado toast with salmon and both plates had beautiful presentation and they came to the table faster than Starbucks heats a danish for you. I did not take pictures because we just couldn’t wait to dive in. Oh, and the baked goods looked so amazing we bought some to go. The team there were super pleasant, calm, and efficient. I highly recommend."

"Came to Southside Century on a recommendation from a friend. It did not disappoint! Fantastic food, very chill, lovely environment. I ordered the Loaded Avocado toast- it was delicious (and DEFINITELY loaded)! I also had the Salted Honey Lavender Latte which was very good, surprisingly salty (but not overwhelming). Overall a wonderful breakfast experience- I will definitely be back!"

"Came here with friends before a long winery day and there was no line on a Saturday morning! Good: - Super fast service, put in an order and got our iced horchata super quick - Loved the horchata - super tasty and sweet - The protein bowl was incredibly tasty too and filling, a little too much hummus in my opinion - Very unique biscuit and gravy - Cute swings and cute ambiance Bad: - Very casual place to eat, no frills and little service Overall liked this place it’s a good find!"
