"Came here with my sister in law who was visiting from South America. Many people greeted us, but Melanie stood out. Melanie helped us find the jeans my SIL needed, switching her language to Spanish as soon as she realized we were speaking another language! Other employees were very helpful but I didn’t catch their names. Super organized store, quick checkout process, nice lighting in the fitting rooms."

"It is very upsetting that the Oaks is pushing out this store and Aerie, especially considering how those stores bring a specific audience, and many of them, that the outside portion of the mall is geared towards. Our family usually only goes to the mall when we need something from those two stores! We primarily shop at American Eagle, especially for their great and varied jeans for women. We also love their shirts and sweaters, and Aerie (across the way) is the absolute best place for the best quality pajamas, workout gear, and most of all, bras. American Eagle can be very, very busy sometimes, but the Aerie staff are some of the nicest, most helpful in the whole mall."
"I give it 3 star instead of 5 due to the sales rack. I specifically asked if all items on the middle round rack were really 60% off before I began looking and choosing pieces, and was told YES and encouraged to look. I picked the pieces I wanted and the employee started ringing up the selected merchandise, the sweater I picked from the sales rack was full price and not 60% off. The employee said she was sorry but even though she saw me pick the item from the sales bundle, she could not honor the price, so that was that. I purchased 2 shirts at full price and 2 tanks at the sales price, I really wanted the sweater as it was the reason I even chose these 2 tank tops to match it. A bit disappointed for sure, oh well."
