Affordable Movers

"Do not recommend!!! Movers were over an hour late( never even received an apology after i called wondering where they were)... the price was going to be more than double the quote I received (although we did get price down a tad after throwing a fit)....but it still ended up being $400 more than the quote! The movers were scheduled for 4 hours but I was told they could probably be done in 3.... however it took around 6 hours and I still had to leave several items at the old house because I couldn't afford them any longer after being told what the price was and that it was still climbing due to the fact they were still at the old house and not done loading...and even though I described we were moving into a large home...he sent a SMALL 17 FT truck which required multiple trips...which in return required multiple hours...which also resulted in a LOT of money!! We ended up having to pay another company to finish up what this company couldn't finish due to price and time. The only positive was the moving guys did work hard with what they had to work with and were very nice...especially the driver... he played tetris with my furniture to try and fit it in with less loads since they were told to bring the small truck!! 10/10 on the movers. 0/10 on the experience and company *** I did NOT request the size of truck, that is simply not true.... I told you what size house we were moving to and you sent the truck. As soon as the movers pulled up i told them the truck was too small, and they said that is what you told them to bring and that they could do 2 loads due to us not moving too far! I did request 3 movers and the amount of hours...considering the last 2 times we moved the other companies got us done in less than than I even requested with you...but your company got me half done (literally left stuff at the other house and put nothing together in my new house...not 1 thing was assembled due to the price and time it was taking!) in almost double the time i requested. But yes, your movers were great"

"The movers did a great job. The company on the other hand will do anything to raise their prices on you. I booked them on Wednesday for a move on Sunday. On Saturday they sent an invoice that was double what the guy who booked it quoted me. They explained it would take more time and such that’s why it’s double now. Sunday I get another invoice with $100 added onto it for a travel fee. The knew the addresses when I booked. Why add a fee the day of the move? Because they know if you’re hiring a moving company you will not cancel the day of because most people need to be in or out of their homes. I would not recommend this company. Their movers were great they’re just doing their jobs and they did it well. But they will try to get more money out of you the day of the move."

"D'Angelo and Drew were the best movers I have ever worked with. They moved me out of a 2 story home into a top floor Condo with no issues at all!!! This included very heavy furniture as well as a washer and dryer! They were professional, kind, understanding, on time, quick and accurate!!! I wouldn't want anyone else for any future moves!! "I had the opportunity of having Affordable Movers do a long distance move for me from Cincinnati to Columbus Ohio this past Tuesday. I was truly impressed with how efficient they were with the move. They communicated with me prior to arrival with their eta and arrived on time. They were fast with loading the truck. Once arrival to Columbus although they had to carry all my items up 3 flights of stairs(I truly felt bad) they never complained. The set up my stuff how I wanted etc. I am very satisfied with my experience with Affordable Movers."
