A native of Cincinnati, Dr. Isfort completed his undergraduate studies at Loyola University Chicago, graduating magna cum laude, and earned his medical degree with honors from the University of Cincinnati. He further honed his expertise through an Internal Medicine residency and a Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellowship at the University of Colorado, where he was a chief fellow and conducted significant research in mucosal immunology and inflammatory bowel disease.

Board certified in both Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine, Dr. Isfort is committed to promoting open communication and understanding each patient holistically to achieve optimal digestive health. He is proficient in performing upper endoscopy (EGD), flexible sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy for both the management of conditions and cancer screening.

Dr. Isfort is actively involved in the medical community as the Chair of the Chapter Medical Advisory Committee of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation (Southern Ohio Chapter) and serves on the executive board. He is a sought-after speaker for physicians and patients alike, with several peer-reviewed publications to his name. Additionally, he is an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Isfort enjoys outdoor adventures, biking, photography, and spending quality time with his wife and two children.
