Dr. Jennifer Lobert MD

"Dr. Lobert herself listens and explains well when she's in the room with you. That is my one positive comment. My intake nurse was also great. However, it took months and months to get in for my first appointment and then my follow up visit was cancelled twice by them and I was told I had to wait 11+ months after it was cancelled. Once I finally had my follow-up visit, her “nurse navigator” had me leaving the office in tears after giving me inaccurate information, minimizing my experience, and saying that she wouldn’t refer me to test for one of the other 11 types of EDS with the reasoning that "it's rare to have something other than hEDS" - duh. Very unfortunate treatment by someone who has hEDS herself and has more than likely experienced medical gaslighting in her own life. All in all, coming here caused more stress than relief. I won't be returning, unless it's to inform her that I do indeed have one of the more rare forms of EDS that her "nurse navigator" so insensitively dismissed."

"My son and I have been going to Dr Lobert for a couple of years. She is a wonderful doctor that cares about her patients. If something's not working she'll try something else. She is very busy and the only doctor that specializes in Fibromyalgia and EDS in Cincinnati so usually there is a wait for new patients. Her receptionist I will say is very unfriendly. It is very hard to find a really nice caring knowledgeable doctor anymore. I highly recommend her. It looks like some of the low reviews were because of her receptionist."

"This Dr told my primary Dr that Fibromyalgia is not a medically determinable impairment -. but she specializes in this. I had an appointment scheduled for 4 months and there office canceled the day before. Per SSI Fibromyalgia has been list as a medically determinable impairment since 2012 and if this Dr specializes in this field she should know this. It is a disability of wide pain all over and pressure points where your brain gives signals that your body doesn't recognize correctly and for this doctor to not know this as a disability she's a fraud."

"I just had a horrible experience. I scheduled in April for an August appt. When I got here today, I was told that the receptionist has scheduled the wrong kind of appointment and the dr only had 20 mins to see me and therefore she wouldn't see me at all. They put me on their waitlist for the right appointment. I am now number 55 on their waitlist and they hope to get to me by the end of the year but they can't guarantee it. I would have felt less like a number and I may have felt like I mattered if she would have just introduced herself. She had the nurse just send me away."

"Dr Lobert is one of the best doctors I've ever had. Extremely thorough. Takes as much time needed during appointments. Encourages you to write down any questions or concerns to go over during appointments. Explains everything very clearly. She truly is a compassionate doctor which is rare. I also appreciate how small and quiet the office is. All the staff's attention is completely directed towards you while you're there. The staff is extremely friendly & promptly returns messages. I highly recommend Dr. Lobert!"
