"While cleaning out my parents house as we all have to eventually do, I found boxes of slides that my dad had taken while I was growing up…family vacations, birthdays, holidays, etc. Since I don’t have a slide projector, I googled conversion options. I found Home Video Studio and am so glad I did! It is a local business(love that) and not some corporation somewhere. While meeting with Debbie, she explained the process and assured me that my slides would stay with her and not be shipped off to be processed which was a huge relief for me. She gave me several options in transferring my slides( I chose the thumb drive). I couldn’t be happier with the result. I went home and plugged in the drive and got to relive lots of childhood memories. Debbie was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her! Thank you Debbie!"

"I found old movies going through tubs of old photos. One was marked with the titile "Donovan's First Christmas" he just turned 53yo. OMG I laughed, cried, as the memories of this time on film are priceless. Thank God for Deborah to be able to convert to digital media that will be saved forever. "Honest review.. I had many VHS and camcorder tapes transfered. I was very put off by the constant comments about how many there were. Like she didn't want my business. Considering every other place I looked into was alot cheaper and gave more I was slightly offended. I still went with her cause of reviews and rewards and it was local. What I got was basic and a few weren't transfered well. Maybe it was the quality of the tapes but they were stored and well cared for so idk. For the money I guess I expected a bit more. My mistake. I'm not sure , in my case, I got more then I would have buying a device to do it myself. I didn't need the chapters or basic descriptions and would have rathered it cheaper instead. My oldest son paid for this for me for Xmas since I have a condition that causes me to have very little memories of my past. So this is all I have. They are fine, but for what I got I wish I had gone elsewhere and been able , for the same money , to have gotten a usb as well as dvds. After her attitude about the amount I brought, and the fact I didnt rush her or anything, and the cost, I personally wouldn't go back to her and go to one of the places in Cinci. There was an issue with the pricing as the FB price was diff than I was charged. We pointed that out and she reluctantly gave us that pricing. I kinda thought that's how it should go and she should have appreciated we caught it for her. But the whole thing was just super awkward. I've never had such an uncomfortable situation with someone I was giving alot of business to before. Like $1800 worth of business. Then I get 2 back to back emails shortly after asking for a review. Well you got it! Sorry it's not what you prob wanted. Maybe be more appreciative of people choosing you over others who are cheaper. My son wasn't happy with what he saw, vs what he gave me to pay for it. Now I feel bad I didn't just get a device and took the time to do it myself. Live and learn I guess. Hopefully you all will have a better experience."
