"Wait! There are 4 (or more?) native mounds here! ...that line up with each other. That's so cool.. why aren't they labeled or anything!?"
"A little hard to find because all you can see from Indian Hill Road is a small driveway which goes back to the picnic shelter. It is just west of the FAA radio tower installation from which it got its name, which is a very prominent landmark. So know that the driveway just west of those towers goes back to the picnic shelter. It's fairly secluded, which can be both good and bad, but it could be a nice place for a small picnic. I recommend scouting it ahead of time so you know what you will need for your picnic plans."
"Quiet, had fun exploring and enjoyed the diversity of the greenery."
"This is a beautiful place, but out in the middle of nowhere and not easily seen from the road. I brought my infant daughter there for a picnic and we were confronted by a drunk guy who had parked his car between us and the parking lot. I realized how unsafe the park was when I was trying to figure out how to get away from the guy. Finally had to make a run for it past him, but way too close a call. I'll stick to more visible and populated parks from now on."
"Small but a nice place to walk a dog."
