"I spend a lot of time at Michaels. The only thing that would give it 5 stars is being better staffed. I have been in the store needing assistance and had to wait up to 30 mins. I really love the new self checkout concept at other stores and I wish the Western Hills store would get them, perhaps that would free up more staff."

"Amanda was a delightful artist who proved invaluable in helping us find a solution to creating fine details on canvas when painting. Her suggestions were helpful, not only in making us aware of the various options available in different types of media, but also considering our particular needs and level of expertise. She showed us the full range of products and price ranges. Her product knowledge was vast and made shopping a pleasure. It was interesting to note: For people with carpel tunnel or issues with tremors and gripping, they offer paint brushes with silicone grips really inexpensively. There are watercolor pencils and oil-based pens in a variety of shades, colors and thickness. And Craftsmart chalkboard paint was available also. Store was very organized and clean. It was easy to find everything we needed, a few things we didn't!"
