"Terrible company. They flooded our basement twice before we even moved in because their employees unplugged the sump pump to play their music and never plugged the sump pump back in. They FORGOT to put in washer dryer hookups and they had to move things around after the fact, leaving a messy looking huge fill-in-concrete spot in our basement of our now only 4 year old house. Our roof leaked the first 3 months. They patched it enough to last a year, only a year!! and then we had to pay a real professional to fix their terrible job, and it was out of TK's warranty time then. WORST of all, they promised us a zero entry for our special needs son and his wheelchair... and when they'd finished the house and were working on starting the front porch I said "That's a big gap from the ground to the door. How are you going to make that a zero entry?", the contractor's response was "Oops. We forgot". The company's response to our complaints-"We can buy your house back if you're not satisfied. Of course you'll lose the 6 acre property that it's on..." TERRIBLE workers, terrible customer service, terrible reputation (so many bad reviews I wished I'd seen before), and terrible over all job. Choose someone else!"

"We are in the middle of the building phase and so far I have no complaints. The entire TK team has been a pleasure to work with. I’ve been impressed with the quality of work completed so far. TK is not your typical mass producing subdivision home builder of which gave us more flexibility in customization with the house layout. I would highly recommend the CoreValue option with any floor plan."

"PLEASE DON'T GO WITH THIS COMPANY! I had a home built with TK Homes 3 years ago and I am so disappointed in my home. Seems soon as we hit our 3 year anniversary we've had problems although some presented themselves in the early stages as well. However we hit major ones, causing me to come out of over $1,000 due to the company contracting someone who wasn't a plumber but placing the blame on me saying I was the one who contract this person because I paid him. I was blindsided as to how they decided to go about things just for coding purposes. They put cheap material in my home and now my countertops are separating, my counter along my sink has space between the two, I have just noticed a leak in my basement now, parts of my floor is coming up too. I am so disappointed in this company and wish I wouldn't invested our hard earn money with this company. And what's funny, you can't post unless you give them a star. Please disregard the one star I put. It's only there so I can get this info out to help an individual in making their decision regarding building. PLEASE DON'T GO WITH THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL REGRET IT! THEY NEED TO BE CLOSED DOWN!"
