I found this little trail while visiting the Centennial Park today. It's called B.E.F.I.T, which stands for Bill Elfers Fitness Improvement Trail, quite an impressive name for such a small trail. It's a paved trail that's 0.4 miles long and serves as an out-and-back route. Although the trail was well-maintained, I noticed some patches here and there that were in need of repair. The trail has a minimal elevation, making it an easy walk for anyone. I started my walk from the trailhead which leads to a back valley of some neighborhood. Along the way, I noticed several houses' backyards where people were sitting outside enjoying the warm afternoon sun. However, there was a bit of a stench from the nearby sewer and dog waste. Despite this, the rest of the walk was enjoyable and I was able to take in the beautiful view of a nearby creek, now filled with muddy water from a recent flash flood. The sound of the rushing water was a pleasant surprise and made the walk even more serene. Apart from a few benches along the path, there's not much else to see on the trail. I did see a few kids playing along the path but it was mostly empty. If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful walk with no traffic, then this trail is perfect for you."
