"Festival513 has been great for my children and I and this year was the 1st year my grandson was a vendor. I (we)have been attending and vending at the Festival513 every year since it started ( minus CoVID ) There has Always been helpful staff readily to assist us with checking in and setting up. I enjoy seeing the various vendors, people and clothing. My grandson and I are looking forward to vending next year at Festival513!! Thank you again Mr. Tyehimba and Festival513 staff!"
"As a first time vendor at this particular festival, I was pleased overall. Yes, setup was a bit hectic and parking for some vendors was challenging, but as a seasoned vendor, you come to understand that everything doesn’t always run as smoothly as planned or expected. There were thousands of potential customers and the weather was perfect. The stadium has their own concessions therefore, they do not allow outside food or drinks inside. It’s like that at most venues throughout the country. I asked the necessary questions that were concerned with my business & product before paying my vendor fee. Festival 513 answered all of my questions so I could make an informed decision on being a vendor there. According to some of the regular vendors, there may have been more booths added to the festival & day 1 was slower than usual sales wise, but day two was extremely busy. Personally, I had a successful event & plan to return as a vendor in 2024."
"Five year's strong at Festival 513 as a Vendor, I'm always located in my Prime spot. People weren't shopping as usual I still made five times my booth rent. I will be returning next year, hopefully with my same spot. Thanks Festival 513 for always being Accommodating and respectful. One thing that I would change and that's not on the festival 513 the Stadium should allow people to bring their items in as long as they're checked."
"As a first time vendor participating in this event, I am so disappointed in the lack of transparency + prioritizing vendors needs to make this a successful event for guests + other stakeholders. First of all, the vendor application stated that we should be at the set-up location by 8am to unload, we were delayed + weren’t allowed through the entrance until 10am. No reason given! There was nothing stated on the application that vendors would have to pay for parking. I paid to park for 2 days at $50 each day. After set up was complete, I noticed customers were walking through the vendor marketplace but weren’t shopping. I asked a customer who was walking by my booth, why folks are walking by + not shopping with vendors. She stated because people are not allowed to bring in purchased items to attend the music festival. This was never communicated to the vendors. I would never participate in an event in which, customers would not be able to freely shop. I was also placed between two women selling sunglasses who had no choice but to have price wars with their merchandise. Festival 513 has Horrible + greedy leadership with communication that needs more transparency. See video for proof of people walking + not able to shop because of PayCor Stadium rules."
