"Been attending this church , I've gotten baptized there and my daughter is today! Great people, a love of liturgy and ministries for food and social justice, welcoming to all."
"This is a very special church. The congregation is small but growing and we love the new priest Dan, his sermons are wonderful. His wife plays the beautiful music and sings. They do good work in the community and are truly inclusive and welcoming to all. Could not recommend more."
"Beautiful building with inspiring stained glass. Under renovation when we visited during midweek. Glad to see this fine structure being well maintained."
"Morning Prayer (Wednesdays at 9 am) in the small chapel Bible Study (Wednesdays at 10:30). When the weather’s nice we move our lawn chairs into the shade for some cool reading Open Door Ministries (A huge part of Advent’s ministry to the neighborhood). Advent Choir has started up again, Thursday evenings at 6 pm and Sundays at 9 am. Advent is a part of the Walnut Hills Faith Alliance – Congregations working together to support Douglass Elementary School and their families. Victory Temple Pentecostal Church (Pastor Michael Mitchell) welcomes visitors on Saturdays at 3:30 pm in the small chapel."
"It's a very small food pantry, but the staff is nice and helpful. They had a food sharing program every third Saturday that a local church share their excess food to the poor. Wasn't many people there yesterday, but thank God we got out before the weather got bad. They do give away lunches and donuts and coffee to people that come in for food. They do these Monday through Friday, so you might have to call them before going there."
