"Hamilton County Auditors revision board are corrupt. They never even looked at the pictures I submitted. First one Appraiser Jessica Metz denied my appeal by saying I did not put a value price on the pictures submitted. I am not an appraiser Jessica is but she wants me to do her job.I have been doing these appeals for 29 years and never had an appraiser ask me to do her job. Then later I was told she quit. They do They do values on your pro-every six year and in 2018 they had an emergency meeting to look at all the pictures I submitted and assessed the damage and came up with a price. I have never had to have a hearing I take really good pictures of the damage to my house and I had a hearing with appraiser Randall P. Cain Assistant Director of Real Estate Valuation/Certified Residential Appraiser lied through his teeth. There is only about 10 minutes in between hearings and not enough time to look at 80 pictures. I spend a great deal of money on film and pictures because it is the appraisers Job to look at the damage and come up with a price. I have done nothing in 29 years to improve this property because I am disabled live on disability. I cant believe the dishonesty. I have been doing this for 29 years and these appraisers did not look at the pictures. I went to a hearing wear they just went over comps so you have to keep the new price. 6 years ago it was 39,000 based on the revision boards hearing 6 years later my home price is 150,000 and also had comps which they didn’t mention because they didn’t look at my appeal. It is just terrible they make you take an oath then they lie to you. I have not fixed anything in my home in fact the damage is worse I would never believe how dishonest they are. There is nothing you can do. I even tried contacting The Head Auditor Jessica Miranda she didn’t answer any of my emails. Dusty Rhodes use to answer you all the time when he was auditor. I am disabled and they quadrupled the price of my home and asked me to do their job. I have a learning disability and every time I asked for some clarification it was denied."

"Unbelievable board of revision hearing. The Auditor discredited ALL criteria used by the national databases such as number of bedrooms, Brick Masonry vs. Wood Siding. Stated they are only using SQ FT to establish values. There is no transparency for the average citizen in Hamilton Co."

"Though there was a lack of competence within the Homestead Department via our attaching all REQUIRED documentation for disabled veterans (2 Iraq tours) for the Exemption Act and still being asked for more. The department did finally correct the situation and the receptionist was at least very personable."
