"I was very sick with a GI bleed and I live alone. I called 911 from the upstairs of my home and I couldn’t get downstairs I was so sick and dizzy while throwing up blood. As the firefighters and emt arrived they were screaming at me to open the door. I couldn’t and said bust it in because the door is junk anyway. They were reluctant to and screaming at me…. I was on the floor dying sick. I was yelled at for not being able to walk and them having to put me on a board. I was already embarrassed but it was made soooooo bad for me emotionally. Once loaded in the ambulance the emergency technician was made because he couldn’t find a vein. He was ticked off and telling the other men there and had a giggle about it all. Like I was a druggy but I’m not. In fact I donated plasma for people like them!! I’m a good person just been very very sick in my life in recent years and my body is tired. Once I was gotten to the hospital and covered in my own blood because I was vomiting blood I was dropped in the main room with all the other patients. I couldn’t even sit up and I was dumped off and treated like trash. I literally lay crashing. This was awful and a disgusting way to treat another human. Honestly people like these guys need stopped and talked to about their beside manner. I ended up crashing on them in the hospital and woke up surrounded by drs in a surgical room. Also I begged this men that showed up to please not leave my door just crashed open because I have support animals that could get out. The department told me they would secure my door and call the dog warden they didn’t. My home was left with the door about an inch open. I crawled out of the hospital and back home to my house because I knew how bad these people were acting and judging me they were not going to secure my home. I was even judged with a firefighter coming in my home and looking in my kitchen he was shaking his head because my house was messy!!! I had a GI bleed for days before perhaps and I was judged? I always have looked up to these gentlemen in our community and ladies (no ladies this day in particular) but now I’m in shock and I will be very careful not to need them again… I’m sorry to write this because I don’t want anyone mad but this was a ridiculous situation with them and they need to reevaluate how they are treating people. That was the worst day of my life just about and look what I dealt with. Dumping in the Er like I was lying was crazy! Especially in the front entry with people who were not in immediate need of a dr. I should have been taken to the back immediately!! Please if anyone reads this DO BETTER!!! Ty."
