"Unfortunately, not being maintained. I believe there is a question of jurisdiction.... But I have no facts."
"One of the most historic 1/2 acres in Cincy . Deserves much more respect than it gets. Hoping our organization Respect Our Cemeteries.com can gather those who have vowed to " never forget" the Revolutionary War And 1812 Veterans buried in this hallowed land to aid us in returning it to respectibility!! ! Hidden next to the water works property."
"This little cemetery had revolutionary war soldiers buried here with historical markers."
"Needs a little bit of love."
"Finneytown Historical Cemetery was dedicated as a public burial ground on June 12, 1802 by Ebenezer Ward Finney. Ebenezer Ward Finney was a soldier in the Revolutionary War in the 4th New York Regiment and founder of Finneytown, Ohio. He and 5 additional Revolutionary soldiers are buried in the Finneytown Historical Cemetery as well as their families. Additionally, their are about 5 soldiers from the War of 1812 and their families. There are more than 70 burials here at Finneytown Historical Cemetery and 62 headstones. Many of the headstones identify the soldiers from the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812. The earliest burial was in 1799 and the last burial was in 1891 to the best of this authors knowledge. As of 2016, Troop 857, from Finneytown, Ohio, and Eagle Scout, Zach Howell, restored the Cemetery. They installed a walkway leading into the main entrance to the Cemetery. They cleaned the entire perimeter. And, the surrounding wrought iron black fence and entrance gate were painted and repaired. It is an amazing historical location discovered here in Finneytown, Ohio."
