Reviews
"I wanted to edit this review to give a more complete picture of my experiences here. I attended this church from 2010 to around 2012 and attended the after school program until 2013. The church atmosphere was great, the older folks and the younger generation were friendly, talkative and caring. The pastor and some staff on the other hand, were very insufferable and hard to be around. Most of this took place during the afterschool program they had ran (or still do, idk) called, "Chaos". It started off being a "do as you want" kind of thing where kids could hangout, play basketball, video games, etc. whenever until it was time to eat and it was great. Then, some new staff came on and started being less friendly to the kids and made changes to the program that stopped kids from having fun and instead, focused on indoctrination instead. Instead of "free time", kids were broken off to do Christian activities and/or other silly, non-interesting things. I remember distinctly it being around 20 degrees or so outside, my girlfriend at the time was freezing and we were hugging so she could stay warm. A staff member comes up to us and yells at us and says we have to "leave the property" if we are going to hug.. Mind you, we were underaged, it was 20 degrees or so outside and it was dark, (around 6 at night in winter time). In fact, her exact comments were, "If he was a gentleman, he would give you his coat". (meaning I would give my coat up to my girlfriend if I really cared about her, mind you, it's 20 degrees and I was a minor). Events like the ones I stated are the reason I ran far away from this specific church. I checked a livestream out from one of their church services from a week ago... The attendance has fallen off drastically. I don't see 90% of the people I used to see. I can only hope and wish that this evil place closes for good."
"What a great place to worship! Come check out the parking lot service next Sunday 8/20/23, the last one for summer! Join the church community for events to follow"
"One of my daughters attends an after school group here twice a week. She loves it. They also do lots of volunteer work here from Thanksgiving food boxes to Christmas presents and food boxes and more. Great asset to the community and everyone is very kind. We are always met with a smile and warm greeting. Thank you to our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ."
"This church is located close to my house. They have many events open to the public, such as rummage sales and Easter Egg hunts. I might be wrong, however I believe they are LGBT friendly, as their office has a rainbow triangle sticker on the outside of their window."
