"Don't waste your time moving here, lot rent is insane, just went up another $50 and you get nothing to justify the high lot rent. Hopefully maintenance gets caught killing the Geese, guess they are unaware they are federally protected. The person posting about signing the rules when you moved in, been here 10+yrs never had a notice or anything, and to educate you a little bit, the rules are NOT the same as the FIRST ones I signed when moving in, this is probably the 3rd set of rules since, also you are forced to sign the NEW set of rules or be kicked out. Also the lake is like that every year along with the flooding. Maybe they should keep spare parts. Concrete and tree work was done prior to current manager and is normal maintenance when you own a trailer park. I could have the parts for the pond same day."
"The rent here is ridiculous. I am on a single lot which I do have a double wide but they’re charging me for a double lot which it’s not on a double lot. I don’t know how people are gonna keep affording the rent here it keeps going up at least once or twice a year, the space between my trailer and the next we can touch hands from our decks that’s why I need to be on a double lot. We are too close to the trailer next to me. There are no amenities whatsoever. You wouldn’t mind paying $800 a month if you had things to do every night of the week , there’s a lot of improvements need to be done here. Can’t see any as of yet. I know years ago this was a nice park, but since new owners it’s not"
"They claim to be a retirement community but with lot rent going over $800 and then add your mortgage to that most retirees couldn't afford to live here. Might as well buy a house with out all the nonsense rules(no bouncing balls). They also claim the reason for raising lot rent 2 or more times a year is for updates, nothing has really changed, you get nothing, no playground, pool, workout room, ect. and it's to protect your investment when in reality it does just the opposite since you will have to take less for your trailer to sell it due to the outrageous lot rent and any potential buyers not knowing how hight they will continue to raise it. There is no lease agreement so they can kick you out any time for any reason and take your trailer knowing most people can't afford to move them and then flip them for a profit. When you continue to see a lot of homes for sale in a neighborhood that should tell you all you need to know. There has been a few articles wrote about trailer parks like this and why they raise the rent so high it's been on the news, it's to raise property values so they can obtain other loans and game the system. Hopefully Kentucky will follow other states and pass laws stoping owners like this one and bankrupt them. Karma will catch up with them soon enough."
"This is the worst place to live! If I could give it less than one star I would. The lot rent is ridiculous and the management sucks. You can’t park on the street not even guests, so if you have a get together plan on them parking at the office, if there’s even space, and then shuttling them back to your home or have them walk depending on how far from the office you live. I lived there for 8 years until I bought my house, and then my niece lived there and if someone would stop to see her and happened to park on the street management would be there in a matter of minutes knocking on her door telling them to move. They said the fire department told them no one can park on the street which has to be a big fat lie as that’s the only mobile home park I know of that has that rule. I can’t stress enough to not move here!!"
"Yes the gentleman that spoke about Amazon and there getting the money while they can. He is absolutely correct but it's not going to be Amazon. So for the few clueless people giving the great reviews they will be the last folks to have a new place to live here in the next 12 months. As many as possible need to put the lot rent in escrow and post there mobile homes for sale. Park won't get lot rent or anything from the sale of the home and unfortunately no one is going to come in new paying $750 a month in no dam mobile home park. Good luck my friends I've seen this scenario on 2 occasions in Cincinnati and Louisville get out while you can."
